How to Install python-jabber software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-jabber software package provides Python module for the Jabber instant messaging platform, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-jabber

python-jabber is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-jabber package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-jabber *

You will get with python-jabber package name, version, architecture and description in a table
