How to Install python-gtk2 software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-gtk2 software package provides Python bindings for the GTK+ widget set, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-gtk2

python-gtk2 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-gtk2 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-gtk2 *
