python-grib-doc software package provides Documentation and examples for Python GRIB, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-grib-doc
python-grib-doc is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-grib-doc package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-grib-doc *
You will get with python-grib-doc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
