python-gpyconf software package provides Python configuration framework with support for multiple backends, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-gpyconf
python-gpyconf is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-gpyconf package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-gpyconf *
You will get with python-gpyconf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
