How to Install python-glance software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-glance software package provides OpenStack Image Registry and Delivery Service - Python library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-glance

python-glance is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-glance package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-glance *

You will get with python-glance package name, version, architecture and description in a table
