python-geoip-dbg software package provides Python bindings for the GeoIP IP-to-country resolver library (debug extension), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-geoip-dbg
python-geoip-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-geoip-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-geoip-dbg *
You will get with python-geoip-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
