How to Install python-geoip software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-geoip software package provides Python bindings for the GeoIP IP-to-country resolver library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-geoip

python-geoip is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-geoip package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-geoip *

You will get with python-geoip package name, version, architecture and description in a table
