How to Install python-gdcm software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-gdcm software package provides Grassroots DICOM Python bindings, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-gdcm

python-gdcm is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-gdcm package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-gdcm *

You will get with python-gdcm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
