How to Install python-gcm-client software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-gcm-client software package provides Python client for Google Cloud Messaging (GCM), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-gcm-client

python-gcm-client is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-gcm-client package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-gcm-client *

You will get with python-gcm-client package name, version, architecture and description in a table
