python-fswrap software package provides Unified object oriented interface for interacting with file system objects, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-fswrap
python-fswrap is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-fswrap package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-fswrap *
You will get with python-fswrap package name, version, architecture and description in a table
