How to Install python-evdev software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-evdev software package provides python bindings for the generic input event interface, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-evdev

python-evdev is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-evdev package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-evdev *

You will get with python-evdev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
