python-egenix-mxtools software package provides collection of additional builtins for Python, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-egenix-mxtools
python-egenix-mxtools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-egenix-mxtools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-egenix-mxtools *
You will get with python-egenix-mxtools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
