python-doit software package provides Automation tool to execute any kind of task in a build-tools fashion, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-doit
python-doit is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-doit package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-doit *
You will get with python-doit package name, version, architecture and description in a table
