python-d2to1 software package provides Python support for distutils2-like setup.cfg files as package metadata, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-d2to1
python-d2to1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-d2to1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-d2to1 *
You will get with python-d2to1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
