python-couleur software package provides tool to play around with ANSI features in a unix terminal, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-couleur
python-couleur is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-couleur package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-couleur *
You will get with python-couleur package name, version, architecture and description in a table
