python-configobj software package provides simple but powerful config file reader and writer for Python, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-configobj
python-configobj is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-configobj package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-configobj *
You will get with python-configobj package name, version, architecture and description in a table
