How to Install pymca software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

pymca software package provides Python applications and toolkit for X-ray fluorescence analysis, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pymca

pymca is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pymca package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pymca *

You will get with pymca package name, version, architecture and description in a table
