pv-grub-menu software package provides Creates a menu.lst file for PV-GRUB, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pv-grub-menu
pv-grub-menu is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pv-grub-menu package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pv-grub-menu *
You will get with pv-grub-menu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
