How to Install putty software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

putty software package provides Telnet/SSH client for X, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install putty 

putty is installed in your system.

Make ensure the putty package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep putty *

You will get with putty package name, version, architecture and description in a table
