pub2odg software package provides Publisher documents to OpenDocument converter, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pub2odg
pub2odg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pub2odg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pub2odg *
You will get with pub2odg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
