ptouch-driver software package provides transitional dummy package for ptouch printer driver, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ptouch-driver
ptouch-driver is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ptouch-driver package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ptouch-driver *
You will get with ptouch-driver package name, version, architecture and description in a table
