How to Install ptex-bin software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

ptex-bin software package provides TeX Live: transitional dummy package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ptex-bin

ptex-bin is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ptex-bin package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ptex-bin *

You will get with ptex-bin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
