How to Install psmisc software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

psmisc software package provides utilities that use the proc file system, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install psmisc

psmisc is installed in your system.

Make ensure the psmisc package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep psmisc *

You will get with psmisc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
