How to Install proguard software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

proguard software package provides java class file shrinker, optimizer, and obfuscator, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install proguard

proguard is installed in your system.

Make ensure the proguard package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep proguard *

You will get with proguard package name, version, architecture and description in a table
