proftpd-mod-vroot software package provides ProFTPD module mod_vroot, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install proftpd-mod-vroot
proftpd-mod-vroot is installed in your system.
Make ensure the proftpd-mod-vroot package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep proftpd-mod-vroot *
You will get with proftpd-mod-vroot package name, version, architecture and description in a table
