proftmb software package provides per-residue prediction of bacterial transmembrane beta barrels, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install proftmb
proftmb is installed in your system.
Make ensure the proftmb package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep proftmb *
You will get with proftmb package name, version, architecture and description in a table
