printfilters-ppd software package provides filters from the GNUlpr printing system, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install printfilters-ppd
printfilters-ppd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the printfilters-ppd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep printfilters-ppd *
You will get with printfilters-ppd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
