How to Install primus software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

primus software package provides client-side GPU offloading for NVIDIA Optimus, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install primus

primus is installed in your system.

Make ensure the primus package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep primus *

You will get with primus package name, version, architecture and description in a table
