How to Install prelude-notify software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

prelude-notify software package provides Security Information Management System [ Desktop Notifier ], you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install prelude-notify

prelude-notify is installed in your system.

Make ensure the prelude-notify package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep prelude-notify *

You will get with prelude-notify package name, version, architecture and description in a table
