prboom-plus software package provides enhanced clone of the classic first-person shooter Doom, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install prboom-plus
prboom-plus is installed in your system.
Make ensure the prboom-plus package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep prboom-plus *
You will get with prboom-plus package name, version, architecture and description in a table
