How to Install ppp-dev software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

ppp-dev software package provides Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) - development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ppp-dev

ppp-dev is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ppp-dev package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ppp-dev *

You will get with ppp-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
