How to Install ppp software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

ppp software package provides Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) - daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ppp

ppp is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ppp package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ppp *

You will get with ppp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
