How to Install powstatd software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

powstatd software package provides Configurable UPS monitoring daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install powstatd

powstatd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the powstatd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep powstatd *

You will get with powstatd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
