postgresql-9.3-prefix software package provides Prefix Range module for PostgreSQL, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install postgresql-9.3-prefix
postgresql-9.3-prefix is installed in your system.
Make ensure the postgresql-9.3-prefix package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep postgresql-9.3-prefix *
You will get with postgresql-9.3-prefix package name, version, architecture and description in a table
