postgresql-9.3-pgmp software package provides arbitrary precision integers and rationals for PostgreSQL 9.3, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install postgresql-9.3-pgmp
postgresql-9.3-pgmp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the postgresql-9.3-pgmp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep postgresql-9.3-pgmp *
You will get with postgresql-9.3-pgmp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
