poa software package provides Partial Order Alignment for multiple sequence alignment, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install poa
poa is installed in your system.
Make ensure the poa package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep poa *
You will get with poa package name, version, architecture and description in a table
