How to Install pmount software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

pmount software package provides mount removable devices as normal user, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pmount

pmount is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pmount package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pmount *

You will get with pmount package name, version, architecture and description in a table
