How to Install pm-utils software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

pm-utils software package provides utilities and scripts for power management, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pm-utils

pm-utils is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pm-utils package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pm-utils *

You will get with pm-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
