plasma-widget-nextwallpaper software package provides plasmoid that changes the current wallpaper, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install plasma-widget-nextwallpaper
plasma-widget-nextwallpaper is installed in your system.
Make ensure the plasma-widget-nextwallpaper package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep plasma-widget-nextwallpaper *
You will get with plasma-widget-nextwallpaper package name, version, architecture and description in a table
