plasma-widget-fastuserswitch software package provides Fast user switch plasmoid for switching between sessions in KDE, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install plasma-widget-fastuserswitch
plasma-widget-fastuserswitch is installed in your system.
Make ensure the plasma-widget-fastuserswitch package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep plasma-widget-fastuserswitch *
You will get with plasma-widget-fastuserswitch package name, version, architecture and description in a table
