plasma-runner-installer software package provides KRunner plugin for installing packages, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install plasma-runner-installer
plasma-runner-installer is installed in your system.
Make ensure the plasma-runner-installer package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep plasma-runner-installer *
You will get with plasma-runner-installer package name, version, architecture and description in a table
