piuparts software package provides .deb package installation, upgrading, and removal testing tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install piuparts
piuparts is installed in your system.
Make ensure the piuparts package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep piuparts *
You will get with piuparts package name, version, architecture and description in a table
