How to Install pitivi software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

pitivi software package provides non-linear audio/video editor using GStreamer, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pitivi

pitivi is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pitivi package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pitivi *

You will get with pitivi package name, version, architecture and description in a table
