pirl-image-tools software package provides PIRL Image Tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pirl-image-tools
pirl-image-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pirl-image-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pirl-image-tools *
You will get with pirl-image-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
