How to Install pinot software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

pinot software package provides meta-search engine for local files and web queries, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pinot

pinot is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pinot package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pinot *

You will get with pinot package name, version, architecture and description in a table
