pike7.8-dnssd software package provides DNS Service Discovery (DNS-SD) for Pike, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pike7.8-dnssd
pike7.8-dnssd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pike7.8-dnssd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pike7.8-dnssd *
You will get with pike7.8-dnssd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
