phpqrcode software package provides PHP library for generating two-dimensional barcodes, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install phpqrcode
phpqrcode is installed in your system.
Make ensure the phpqrcode package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep phpqrcode *
You will get with phpqrcode package name, version, architecture and description in a table
