php5-adodb software package provides Extension optimising the ADOdb database abstraction library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install php5-adodb
php5-adodb is installed in your system.
Make ensure the php5-adodb package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep php5-adodb *
You will get with php5-adodb package name, version, architecture and description in a table
