$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pgn-extract 

pgn-extract is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pgn-extract package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pgn-extract *

You will get with pgn-extract package name, version, architecture and description in a table

pgn-extract package basic information:
