perlindex software package provides Perl manual pages index and query application, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install perlindex
perlindex is installed in your system.
Make ensure the perlindex package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep perlindex *
You will get with perlindex package name, version, architecture and description in a table
